These victories truly matter
Sharing a beautiful moment from one of my patient family having a child on the Autism spectrum.
Every child’s journey is unique, and so is every victory. We celebrate progress that may not always fit the “milestone charts” but deeply touches the heart of every parent walking this path. This week, one such moment reminded me why we do what we do…
A mother shared a precious milestone of her son. Her 9-year-old son who once couldn’t stay in the theatre for even a few minutes, sat through an entire movie wearing 3D glasses, without an iPad, and with a smile.
Until now, he would run out when the lights dimmed or the sounds grew loud.
But this time…
He stayed.
He watched.
He enjoyed.
Without an iPad.
He did it.
That’s not just a movie watched.
That’s confidence built, safety felt, and growth witnessed.
And that’s everything. To the world, this may seem like a small step.
But it’s a giant leap toward hope, trust, and independence for us.
Because every regulated moment, every spark of courage, every tiny win —
is a sign that the impossible is slowly becoming possible.
